Journey of a Lifetime!

“The traveler was active; he went strenuously in search of people, of adventure, of experience. The tourist is passive; he expects interesting things to happen to him. He goes "sight-seeing." ~Daniel J. Boorstin
This year has been a journey of change for me. I started by changing to an almost 100% raw vegan diet because of allergic reactions to food. What started as a short term fix has had a major impact on my life. It has transcended the food itself and been a doorway to so many spiritual developments. It has encouraged a brighter, more energetic me. It has helped me to be more open minded and curious. The energy it’s given me has lent itself to new ventures and new friendships which have enriched my life. It’s made me grateful for: where I live in, my friends, my family, and the simple fact of being alive. Ive become more environmentally aware of my impact on this earth. Ive moved to a country property sorrounded by wildlife and trees, grow my own food, buy produce from local farmers markets, and recycle and compost almost everything. Im ready and open to explore everything new and this opportunity is a dream come true.
Am I qualified? For the past eight years, Ive worked in advertising. I write copy for a living, I blog daily on a variety of subjects for myself and clients, Im a facebook addict, I twitter, and cant get enough of YouTube. I also know just about every other social media outlet available, and are comfortable with both digital and video cameras.
Why would I want to be the blogger and travel to Antarctica? Who wouldnt! This is an adventure of a lifetime to be shared with everyone. I wont sight-see I will live every second and take you with me.
