"Was thinking of you..."

I opened up my email today and perused the subject lines of the unread messages in my Inbox when I came upon an email titled, “Was thinking of you…”

Prompted by curiosity and heartfelt gratitude, I immediately opened up the email to discover that a dear friend had learned of the Quark Expeditions Blogger… and thought of me.

“Go for it!,” she wrote. “It was meant for you!”

Wow! Aside from being completely humbled by my friend’s encouragement and trust, I am simply awestruck by this amazing opportunity to do something real. It is irrevocably one of the most remarkable opportunities to jump into a seemingly barren land to discover adventure, camaraderie, emotion and hope amidst the endless ice and bitter cold.

What an incredible honor it would be to take passion and commitment, with a love for photography, and use it to make a lasting impact and promote change.

More magnificent than ever, the wonders of the Polar Regions are limitless and simply waiting to be discovered, protected and loved. To proclaim that there’s more to this world than me… than you… than us… that is what I long for.

Vote and join me in the journey of discovery where survival and instinct meet beauty and splendor. Laugh with me, cry with me and enjoy the untold story of an Antarctica Expedition.
