I’ve documented and blogged Mother Nature for over 23 years. My passion is sharing amazing places on Planet Earth with YOU and offering evidence of why this planet is so magnificent.

Documenting Antarctica is a childhood dream.  If you vote for me, you will also be voting for yourself. My blogs will put YOU the reader “In the Moment” and we will share this amazing adventure together. I will provide daily blogs that will transport the reader “in the moment” in Antarctica, feeling the icy cold, inhaling the clean unpolluted air, hearing the diverse sounds of wildlife, and witnessing the awesome lighting only found in this untouched wonderland.

My work has been featured by National Geographic as well as other documentary television shows. I’ve documented over 22 Hurricanes, including 13 from inside the eye. During Hurricane Katrina, I documented a 28-foot high storm surge event at Gulfport Beach and shared the dangers associated with Hurricanes.

Other documented events include a visit to the summit of Mt. Washington during the harshest of conditions, especially one brutal day with chilling (-35) degree temperature and winds in excess of 100 mph.  Another spectacular event was camping on a Hawaiian volcano while documenting a lava bench before it collapsed into the ocean.  The sizzle of scorching lava, as it oozed into the sea and created new land, was truly breathtaking.  I’ve documented over a dozen tornadoes and shared the dangers associated with thunderstorms including lightning, hail, and extreme winds.
