From the Middle East to the Antarctic!

Hello! Please send me to the Antarctic!
I love to travel and am forever on the search for the next destination. Unfortunately with the damage travelling actually causes the planet, more awareness has to be created.
I’m a fast-paced typing, recording and videoing machine that will update you at every icerberg and Emperor penguin or fur seal spotted.
Despite the fact I live in the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East where temperatures soar to 50C (122F) I am more than ready to experience the coldest place on earth whilst bringing you up to date by blogging on what the situation is out there, complete with interviews from all the people I meet along the way.
I always aim to travel responsibly combining new countries with charity or conservation work be it in Madagascar, Nepal or Borneo.
I’m 29 and work for a national newspaper in Dubai – send me to the South Pole so I can reach out to as many people as possible and tell them about this fascinating continent, before it melts totally away.
Until we learn how to behave ourselves and actually treat our environment with some respect, research expeditions like the ones ongoing in Antarctica are invaluable to our planet’s well being.
And there is so much we still don’t know! Al Gore started something there with his Inconvenient Truth, however leaders of the international community still have a lot to do.
More importantly though, so do we!
Thanks for voting for me!
