I have seen the pyramids at Giza at sunset while my shoes literally melted to the ground in 140+ degree weather (this is sadly not an exaggeration).  I have seen a young child afraid of swimming venture out with just a life vest into the Pacific Ocean to see the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef.  I have climbed the pyramids of Tikal, Guatemala and then hitched a ride with a missionary to the Guatemalan border in an attempt to get home.  I have joined a kazoo band in Germany.  And I have walked behind a native tour guide carrying a machete over his head to protect me from the "wildlife" recently seen in the jungles of Belize...

As a science teacher, I have taught children the importance of respecting our world and our resources.  I have worked to raise the awareness of the footprint each of us leaves behind in this world.

Now that I am a grown-up with a career, husband and family, travel doesn't come that easily.  Life has been a wonderful adventure so far, but my life’s dream is to visit all 7 continents ... I have been to 5, but have Asia and Antarctica to go ... please help me get there!
